nasgormacaroni3

Bikin nasgor macaroni ini sebenernya karena masih punya banyak macaroni sisa bikin sup kemarin-kemarin. Tapi supnya malah bakal ku postingin entar-entar aja hehe.

For a true Indonesian, consuming fruits, salads, or bread in the shape of sandwich, burger, or pizza couldn’t be called “eating” yet, although he/she has consumed them for a day or in a great portion as in usual dish. The term “eating” for a true Indonesian is used after he/she had consumed a plate of steamed rice - and I’m also one who follows that kooky philosophy :P

One of Indonesian popular ways to make use of leftover steamed rice is by cooking it into fried rice. If I don’t make a mistake, fried rice is derived from Chinese cuisine, but it’s so popular in Indonesia even we Indonesians consider that fried rice is our indigenous culinary because it had been modified and acculturated by our local tastes. As a big fan of fried rice, I always love to try a new recipe of it. And for this time, I’d love to give a go for Macaroni fried rice.

Macaroni Fried Rice

Things You Need:
50 g dried macaroni, bowl until tender then drain
3 beef sausages, cut into 1 cm in length and fry for a while until half cooked
1 carrot, diced
3 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp oyster sauce (you can add if you like)
2 plates of leftover rice

Spice to paste:
3 onions
1 clove garlic
2 candlenuts
½ tsp ground white pepper
Salt to taste

Directions:
1. Heat cooking oil, sauté spice paste until fragrant.
2. Add oyster sauce and bring the leftover rice and diced carrot into the frying pan. Stir well.
3. Add macaroni and half-cooked fried sausages. Stir well again until all ingredients are mixed well. Remove from heat.
